Holidays 2009

A swedish citizen (holder of a swedish passport) does not need visa to travel as a tourist to Brazil. However, passports must be valid for at least six months and a return ticket and proof of sufficient funds may be requested on arrival.

Tourists will be admitted for a stay of up to 90 days which is extendable, at the discretion of the Federal Police, for a further 90 days (Please contact the consular section to obtain more information about visa. Tourists are not allowed to work.

Some non-swedish nationals, however, may require a visa. Click the link Visa Exemption List to check if you are exempted from tourist visa.
